The importance of allied medical sciences in healthcare systems is increasingly recognized worldwide. Given their crucial role in disease prevention, diagnosis, and management, many countries are investing in training allied health
professionals to meet the growing demands of their healthcare systems. At Tehran University of Medical Sciences, the training of allied health professionals began over 65 years ago.
